#3 French Revolution

The social conditions during this time period was based upon what estate the citizens fell into. The economic conditions during this time period was very poor. Some people had to pay taxes, while others didn't. The poorer the person was, the more they had to pay. If you were part of the rich group, you had to pay little to no taxes. The political aspects during this time were also very poor. The king had complete control and was a very weak leader who overspent his money. The third estate embraced the enlightenment ideas the most during this time period. The Burgeoise was the third estate group that embraced them the most. The reason they did was because they had the means to read through the ideas. Also, the Burgeoise wanted a new type of government with more representation. They also wanted to make sure certain rights were guaranteed and protected.
